Roberto Leal
Roberto Leal (António Joaquim Fernandes, November 27, 1951 – September 15, 2019) was a Portuguese-Brazilian singer. He sold more than 17 million albums, and received 30 golden records and 5 platinum records.
Roberto Leal was born in Vale da Porca, Portugal. At age thirteen he emigrated to Brazil along with his parents and ten siblings, in four trips.
In São Paulo, after working as a shoemaker and candy seller, he began his career as a fado and romantic singer.
